What is a mother's day session?
Many Mother's Day sessions I've seen are typically young moms with adorable babies and toddlers. But I wanted to take a bit of a different approach and include fifty and fabulous, teens, eighty years young, and all the women in between.
These sessions celebrate our most treasured relationships, the wisdom shared across generations, and the joy of sisterhood.
Where is the studio?
Located at 2450 W. Broadway Rd. #112 in Mesa, we'll be shooting at Space One2One Studio. We will be using the lifestyle room, which is a bright and casual setting with white walls and simple furniture.
I specifically chose to shoot in studio because the simplicity and neutrality of the space emphasizes the subjects, focusing more on the people in the images rather than the scenery or the environment.
When are the sessions and what if I can't make it that day?
May 6th from 9:00am-12:30pm with 30 minute time slots.

How much does it cost? What is included?
Sessions cost $400 + tax and include 15 images and a $25 print credit. You can purchase additional digital images if you'd like.
What is print credit?
After your gallery is delivered, you can order prints and wall art directly online from your collection. I use an exclusive professional print lab that is the best quality. Print credit is essentially a gift card, you can use that money toward any product purchases.
let me tell you a little story...
A couple years ago I did a photo shoot that was very special. It was one of the most meaningful projects I’ve been involved in. A sweet mother daughter duo were given a photo shoot as a gift from their kids. I went to their home one afternoon and we spent some time together capturing their relationship. I had the best time!
Before the shoot, they were pampered and had their hair, nails, and makeup done. I had so much fun photographing these two! Their connection was warm and joyful. They played cards together, sat on the patio, and we took some photos in their matching Christmas pajamas by the tree.
Several times during the shoot the daughter choked up as she looked her mother in the eyes. Capturing those moments together and what they represented meant so much to her.
Before I left, she told me that she kept praying and hoping her mother would hang on until the day of our session. I found out a month later that her mother had passed away.
She was so grateful for those images, and I was so fortunate and grateful that I was able to capture these moments of the two of them together.

We put off taking pictures for so many reasons! We've all been there, we know the drill, I get it. Family photos feel like such a drudgery sometimes. But IT'S SO WORTH IT. Having those photos will someday be a great treasure.
