This is one of the most beautiful and accessible locations by the Salt River near Mesa, Arizona. I love taking clients here because we get a great mixture of water, rocks, mountains, and greenery in the desert of Arizona. And the kids love playing and exploring here, they absolutely love it. I always feel bad when the session is over because the kids never want to leave!
Based on some other images they had seen, this family specifically requested this location for family pictures, not knowing what it was called or where it was. Fortunately I knew right where to take them! Here's another family shoot from the same location -- The Rogers Family.

Family photo shoots with kids can sometimes feel chaotic! Unfortunately these sweet little twin girls were both sick and just not feeling well that day. But we were still able to coax a few smiles out of them, and their siblings were so well behaved and just happy to be outside playing with their family. I loved the natural connection that this family had. The kids were teasing and and goofing off together, and mom and dad were able to find a couple quiet moments to reconnect. It was a great shoot.
