One of the cultural traditions for some members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is to schedule a photo shoot for their child when they turn eight and decide to be baptized. Girls usually wear cute white dresses and the boys wear suits. I love to shoot these photos at local temples of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. The grounds are always beautiful and it captures the peace and wholesomeness of the sweet time of turning eight and getting baptized.

The Mesa temple was recently renovated and the landscaping was completely changed and upgraded. We walked around and took photos with the palm trees, the gold doors of the temple, and later the reflection pool. It was a beautiful night for baptism pictures at the Mesa temple. These shoots with these sweet little eight year olds are definitely a favorite for me!
