Mother Daughter Photo Shoot
This in home photo session was definitely a special one. It was probably one of the most meaningful projects I've been involved in. A sweet mother daughter duo were given a photo shoot as a gift from their kids. I went to their home one afternoon and we spent some time together capturing their relationship.
Before the shoot, they were pampered and had their hair, nails, and makeup done. I had so much fun photographing these two! Their connection was warm and joyful. They played cards together, sat on the patio, and we took some photos in their matching Christmas pajamas by the tree.
Several times during the session the daughter choked up as she looked her mother in the eyes. Capturing those moments together and what they represented meant so much to her. Before I left, she told me that she kept praying and hoping her mother would hang on until the day of our special photo shoot. I found out a month later that her mother had passed away. She was so grateful to have those images.
